Terms and Conditions

Event Times: When a booking is made, payment covers the agreed upon timing of the event. If an event goes overtime, an additional fee may be charged. This fee will typically be a pro rata rate, based on the standard hourly rate agreed upon prior to the booking. In the event a booking begins later than scheduled, the finish time will be required to remain the same in order to accommodate for travel time, unless otherwise discussed between both parties. For events where set up and pack down are required, the time taken to do so will not be charged unless excessive set up is required and agreed upon by both parties.

Cancellations: Circumstances may affect the ability for an event to go ahead. Typically, this will be handled on a case by case manner. Where a reasonable excuse is not present and as a rough guide, a cancellation made more than 4 weeks before the date of the event will receive a full refund/no cancellation fee. Any bookings cancelled between 2 and 4 weeks from the date of the event will forfeit the 20% deposit or a cancellation fee of equivalent value. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks from the date of the event will forfeit the deposit and/or incur a cancellation fee equal to 30% of the value of the booking. Cancellations made less than a week before the date of the event will forfeit the deposit and/or incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the value of the booking. Cancellations made less than 48 hours will lose the deposit and/or incur a cancellation fee equal to 60% of the value of the booking. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event will lose the deposit and/or incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the value of the booking. When a booking is confirmed, the time and date are blocked out from other potential clients, the cancellation fee is to reflect the level of difficulty in replacing the lost work in the event of a cancellation. In the event Cameron is no longer able to attend a booking, as much notice as possible will be given and a full refund will be offered. Generally, a replacement magician can be organised if desired.
